Bihar Govt Approves 7 New Medical Colleges

Bihar- In a huge step towards healthcare and medical education in Bihar, the state government has recently approved setting up seven new government medical colleges and hospitals. This decision is a step towards its commitment to open a medical college in every district of the state. The new government medical colleges and hospitals will be set up in Kishanganj, Katihar, Rohtas, Sheohar, Lakhisarai, Arwal and Sheikhpura districts of Bihar. The proposal to set up these medical colleges has recently been approved by the Bihar government. Once operational, these institutes will ensure that every district of the state has a medical college and hospital.
