Rainbow Children's Medicare launches 100-bed hospital in Rajahmundry

Hyderabad: Rainbow Children's Medicare Limited (RCML), India's leading pediatric multi-speciality and perinatal care hospital chain, announced the commencement of its 100-bed greenfield hospital in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. This development strengthens RCML’s footprint in the state, making Rajahmundry its third hospital in Andhra Pradesh, after Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Over the years, Rainbow has earned the trust of families across the region and has become a popular name in mother and child healthcare. The hospital adds 100 beds to RCML’s network, providing the full spectrum of pediatric and perinatal care, including 24x7 consultant-led emergency care, advanced NICU and PICU care, speciality pediatric clinics, high-risk obstetrics, fetal medicine, laparoscopic gynaecology, and fertility services under ‘BirthRight by Rainbow’. The Rajahmundry launch follows recent additions in Warangal and Guwahati, marking RCML’s third new hospital in FY26. With these expansions, RCML’s network has scaled to 22 hospitals and 5 clinics across 9 cities, with a total capacity of ~ 2,300 beds. This momentum reflects the company’s disciplined execution of its growth roadmap, which combines greenfield developments with selective acquisitions to expand reach and diversify across high-growth healthcare markets.
