UP Cancels 64 MBBS admissions over fake Freedom Fighter Quota Certificates

Authorities have uncovered widespread misuse of the two per cent freedom fighter quota in MBBS admissions in Uttar Pradesh. Out of the 88 reserved seats, 79 were allotted, and 71 students reportedly took admission in medical colleges under this quota. The two per cent freedom fighter quota reserves 88 MBBS seats out of 4,442 in Uttar Pradesh’s medical colleges as a recognition of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and their families.
