The medico has been identified as a third-year MBBS student of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Government Medical College, Baramati.According to HT report, she was returning to the college hostel on her scooty with her friend. While riding, she suddenly lost control at a speed breaker, and the scooter hit the divider. Subsequently, she suffered serious injuries and died on the spot; her friend suffered minor injuries.The medico was also a national-level shooter.Also Read: Chennai Doctor suffers seizure while driving, kills coupleAccording to the police, the accident took place near Urja Bhavan on Bhigwan Road. Inspector Vilas Nale of Baramati City Police Station informed HT, "The deceased lost control of the scooter while crossing a speed breaker, due to which the vehicle skidded and hit the divider. More died in the accident, while her friend was injured and is undergoing treatment in the hospital”.Baramati city police have filed an accidental death report (ADR) in the case. Medical Dialogues earlier reported that six people lost their lives, including five second-year MBBS students from Narayana Medical College, Nellore in a road accident. The vehicle veered off the road, rammed into a roadside mound, and crashed into a petty shop attached to a house.
